The series of leaks about Apple's new iPhones begin
Apple's new iPhones are likely to be introduced in September, but the series of leaks have already started.
According to a report by 9 to 5 Google, Apple will focus
more on improving battery life than computing power in the iPhone 15.
A17 processor will be used for this purpose.
According to Apple's chipmaker TSMC, the iPhone 15's
processor will prioritize battery life over performance.
Based on TSMC's 3nm technology, this processor will be part
of the iPhone 15 series.
Currently, iPhone 14 Pro models are using processors based
on 5nm technology.
The 2023 iPhone models are also likely to feature a USB
Type-C port for charging for the first time.
Similarly, the price of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus can also
be reduced compared to iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.
This is due to iPhone 14 Plus sales not meeting
expectations.

A new record for generating electricity from solar cells
Berlin: Solar energy is considered to be one of the cheapest sources of renewable energy and is of utmost importance to tackle the climate crisis.
Recently, researchers have announced a breakthrough in solar
energy, setting a new record for solar cell efficiency.
Solar cell efficiency is the amount of energy a solar cell
makes using sunlight. Technological innovation in the past decade has
dramatically increased this solar cell capacity. But now this achievement is
being hailed as a big step towards clean energy.
Researchers at the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (HZB) used a
unique cell technology and generated electricity using 32.5 percent of solar
radiation.
Professor Steve Ulbrecht said that this is a major
development that we could not have seen until a few months ago. All the teams
involved in HZB worked together and achieved success.
He said that perovskite/silicon tandem technology is very
effective for sustainable energy supply which we are excited to know.
According to a statement issued by the university, this
record has been independently verified by the European Solar Test Installation
in Italy.

Ban on sharing links for Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms on Twitter
Twitter has announced a ban on posting links to Facebook, Instagram, and other rival social media sites.
The social media company says accounts that direct users to alternative platforms will be suspended.
Advertisements will be allowed on Twitter despite the ban on
links to social media sites.
In a statement issued by Twitter, it has been said that we
know that many of our users are active on other social media platforms as well,
but now Twitter will not allow free promotion of any social media platform.
The company will delete content that is linked to accounts
on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Mastodan, Truth Social,
Tribal, and Noster, the statement said.
In its statement, Twitter announced the new ban, citing some
of these websites as strong alternatives, but did not include the name of the professional
networking platform LinkedIn and China's short video platform TikTok.
In a statement issued by Twitter on Sunday, it has been
clarified that accounts that are used primarily to promote content on other
social media platforms will be suspended, however, from other social media
websites. 'Cross posting' will still be allowed.

The inventor of the World Wide Web came forward to protect the data privacy of Internet users
The Internet has come a long way since its invention in 1989, and in this era of growing concern about the privacy of Internet users, Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, has once again come forward to reclaim our control over our data.
Tim Berners-Lee has developed a 'Solid Pod / Personal Online
Data Store' under his startup Interrupt, which will allow people to store and
access their data in one place instead of multiple applications and websites.
What applications or people can access their data?
In this regard, Tim Berners-Lee says that users can buy a
Pod powered by the web service Amazon or, if they have a little technical
understanding, run it themselves. Ensuring privacy and self-control over it.
They say that with this pod, not only your data is protected
from big corporations and governments, but it will also be protected from being
stolen by hackers.
Berners-Lee said, "I think we've come to realize that
the importance of the web is because of the data on it, which is not only like
a big warehouse, but also profitable for attackers, and this new Nowadays you
are worried about the security of your data.
Tim Berners-Lee hopes that the platform will give internet
users back their lost control over data.
He believes that people are very concerned about their
privacy, and in fact, internet platforms not only have access to a lot of data,
but also misuse it.
"I think people are helpless in the face of these
corporations and they don't have enough power to stop it, so they need to be
put back in a position where they have complete control and authority over
their data," he says. .
Common mistakes that end the life of smartphones early
Smartphones are used by most people now and since they are quite expensive, people try to make these devices last as long as possible.
Learn about some of the common mistakes that shorten the
life of a smartphone.
Do not protect from high temperature
If you charge your phone under a pillow, leave it in a hot place,
or use energy-intensive apps in sunlight, all of these can damage the device.
Excessive temperatures can quickly shorten the life of a
smartphone or cause permanent damage.
This is because the batteries used in smartphones do not
function well in high temperatures.
So avoid using your phone in sunlight or keep it away from
places where the temperature is high.
If the phone heats up during use, put it down and let it
cool down before using it.
Not using the correct charger
You might think that all chargers that support cable
connectors are the same, but that's not true.
It is okay to charge the phone this way but not every
charger can charge your phone effectively.
A charger that is not compatible with the device may shorten
battery life or damage the charging port.
Prefer to use the original charger and cable compatible with
the device.
Downloading apps from other than authorized sources
You might turn to other sources if you can't find an app in
the Play Store or App Store, but downloading apps from third-party app stores
increase the risk of malware or other security issues on your device.
Malicious apps can install viruses and spyware on the
device, which hackers can use to steal personal details, passwords, and other
sensitive information.
So always prefer downloading apps from official stores.
Ignore updates
Frequent software update notifications for certain apps may
not be desirable, but they are necessary for the good performance of the device
and to keep it secure.
Updates usually don't just focus on improving the user
experience, but often include security updates to keep the device safe.
Ignoring these updates can make the phone vulnerable to malware attacks, while the updates also improve the phone's performance.
Harmful charging habits
Although phone battery capacity decreases over time, your habits
can also accelerate this process.
For example, leaving the battery on the charger for hours or
charging it to 100 percent every time is not optimal on a long-term basis.
A smartphone battery has a limited number of charge cycles
(a charge cycle refers to charging the battery from 0 to 100 percent) and
repeated 100 percent charging will limit battery life over time.
It's best to charge the phone between 38 and 80 percent,
which increases battery life.
Using the phone while charging also affects battery life, so
choose a ventilated place for charging so the phone doesn't heat up.
Never turn off the phone
You don't leave your computer or laptop on for weeks at a
time, but have you ever thought about your smartphone?
Smartphones are also quite similar to computers, so leaving
them on for months on end affects performance over time.
Turning off the phone for a few minutes at least once a week
improves the performance of the phone on a long-term basis.
Not using the case or back cover
Phone cases or back covers are useful for protecting devices.
The purpose of these covers is to protect the phone in case
of a fall or any other accident.
Don't care about cleanliness
Not taking care of cleaning the phone screen and ports can
also shorten the life of the device.
A microfiber cloth can be used for cleaning the screen while
a soft cotton swab can be used for the ports.

Introducing some of the best features for WhatsApp video calling
WhatsApp is not only used for messages but also for audio and video calls.
This is the reason why WhatsApp has
announced the introduction of several new features to improve video calling.
Some of these features have been announced
before but now they are being officially introduced.
The most prominent feature is the inclusion
of up to 32 people in a video call.
Earlier, 8 people could be included in a
video call, but now this limit has been increased to 4 times.
This feature was announced in early
November with the Communities feature but is now being rolled out.
Similarly, one of the features is to send
messages or mute people who are part of the calls.
For this purpose, a long press on a
person's icon will bring up the option to mute or mute the message.
The US Senate passed a bill to ban TikTok on government devices
The US Senate has passed a bill to ban the Chinese video app, TikTok, from government devices.
According to a foreign news agency, the US Senate passed a bill banning the use of the Chinese app TikTok on government devices by federal employees through a voice vote over security concerns.
According to American media, this move is another step in
the crackdown against Chinese companies, after the approval of the House of
Representatives, the bill will be sent to the President for signature.
On the other hand, Tik Tok has expressed disappointment over
the American initiative and said that the allegations of espionage and data
transfer against it are baseless and based on lies.
The US states of North Dakota and Iowa already ban the use
of TikTok on government devices.
US authorities say that the TikTok app can be used for
espionage and data transfer.
In this regard, the Tik Tok management says that they are
ready to discuss the company's practices with policymakers.
